Who we are

What we collect
Depending on how you use ujLearn, we may collect:
- Account details — name, email address, country, timezone, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
- Booking and session information — services booked, tutor, scheduled times, meeting links, reschedule/cancel history, and session credits.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment status, amounts, currency, and related identifiers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications — messages you send via the contact form or email, and emails we send about your account or bookings.
- Technical data — limited logs needed to operate and secure the website (for example IP address, browser type, and timestamps).
How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Take bookings, process payments, and deliver mentoring sessions
- Send booking confirmations, reminders, and service-related notices
- Respond to support requests
- Improve and secure the website
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to run the service, including:
- Tutors — name, booking details, and contact information needed to deliver your session
- Stripe — payment processing
- Hosting and database providers — currently including infrastructure used to run ujLearn (for example application hosting and Supabase)
- Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails
- Professional advisers or authorities — when required by law or to protect our legal rights
Overseas processing
Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure information is handled in a way that is consistent with this policy and applicable Australian privacy law.
Students under 18
ujLearn is aimed at secondary and high-school students preparing for medicine admissions. A student may hold their own account. If the account holder is under 18, a parent or guardian should supervise use of the service and consent to our collection and use of the student’s personal information as described in this policy. A parent or guardian may contact us about a child’s personal information using the email below.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies required for sign-in, session security, and basic site operation. We do not currently use third-party marketing or advertising pixels on ujLearn. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction, and complaints
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing support@easyq2c.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of ujLearn after an update means you accept the revised policy.
